After signing in, tap Create Community on the home screen. Enter a community name and a unique @handle. You'll be set as the admin and a General group chat is created automatically.
Go to Settings and tap Invite Codes. Generate a new code and share it with anyone you'd like to invite. Codes expire after 24 hours for security.
You can either enter an invite code shared with you, or search for a community by name and submit a join request. The community admin will approve or decline your request.
Go to the People tab and tap on any community member to start a private conversation.
Go to Settings and tap Leave Community. You'll be removed from all groups and conversations in that community. Your previous messages remain visible to other participants.
Go to Settings and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, community memberships, and personal data. Messages you sent are anonymized but remain visible to other participants.
Only what's needed to run the app: your display name, messages, and push notification token. We don't access your contacts, location, or files. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Sign in with Apple provides secure authentication without requiring a phone number or email address. Your Apple ID is never shared with other users.
PapaChat requires an internet connection. Check your Wi-Fi or cellular data. If the problem persists, try force-quitting and reopening the app.
Go to iOS Settings > PapaChat > Notifications and make sure notifications are enabled.
Community search matches by name. Make sure you're searching for the exact community name. If the community is private, you'll need an invite code from a member.
PapaChat is a private messaging app for closed communities. No ads, no tracking, no data selling. Just communities and conversations.
